2018 at a Glance

Dedication Through Education & Service

Dedication Through Education and Service is not just a slogan for the Delta County Memorial Hospital Foundation but a promise that is renewed with each donation to DCMH and area health care organization. We want to thank each and every one of you that supported us in 2018, whether it was through a one-time contribution, recurring donation, joining the 100 Club, or by supporting the Pea Green Pedal & Fun Run!

Pea Green Pedal & Fun Run

The 7th Annual Pea Green Pedal & Fun Run fundraiser was held on September 8th with more than 80 participants in attendance! The fun day was made possible by businesses and hospital departments donating funds, time, and energy. The DCMH Foundation was able to raise a little more than $24,000 and that is all thanks to people like you. THANK YOU!

This year the DCMH Foundation was able to provide thirteen employee scholarships for continued education and in partnership with the DCMH Volunteers five High School scholarships for students going into a healthcare field. Below are the Hospital Employees that received funds to continue their education to benefit the people of Delta County today and for years to come:

This new wheelchair is used in Radiology to make it easier to get in and out of the chair for the patients and safer for the staff to help people maneuver to and from the chair. Pictured from left to right are Brittany, Susie and Jeff Richard the Radiology manager at DCMH.

The DCMH Foundation also provided funds for a conference phone for the Education Department, Communication Boards for the Urgent Care, a new wheelchair in Radiology, a survivorship program for the Grand Mesa Oncology, and training devices for the Obstetrics Department Stork’s Landing.
